ALL LOCAL SUPPORT GROUPS ARE NOW CLOSED DUE TO THE COVID-19 CRISIS

Life with a new baby is full of surprises, and you’ll almost certainly have questions and concerns, even if it’s not your first child. You are more likely to continue breastfeeding if you get help as soon as possible. Find information and support can be found as the places below. We try to keep this information up to date but please do call before you go along to confirm they are open.

Drop-in Groups

Monday

The Maris Practice

Breastfeeding support from a Lactation Consultant.  Cranial osteopath also present.

Cost £8, including tea, coffee and cake.

A group for parents to socialise and provide mutual support.  

Cost £2.00, includes tea/coffee & biscuits

Breastfeeding support with a Health Visitor

Breastfeeding and postnatal support provided by an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor, as part of the regular Tuesday Baby Group.

Breastfeeding Friends – Working alongside Bumps and Babes

Trained breastfeeding peer supporters (volunteers) will be available to discuss breastfeeding and feeding-related issues.
